Today we had a fun fitness dance class with a guest teacher from DancePlay. In the afternoon we did an activity where we had to search for clues on a zoo map. We also reflected on big events from this year and tried to put them on a timeline.

Today we had our second wonder time. Ask me what we did. We also wrote our TWAS journals - please respond to your child and return your journal after the weekend. A Celtic Fiddler came and played for the school today - ask your child about what they learned and liked about the performance.
Reminders: - picture orders are due on Wednesday Today we walked to the new park area and did an insect scavenger hunt. Ask your child about what they've found. In phys. ed. we did our fitness circuits.

The grade twos used base ten blocks to do some double digit addition and the grade ones found patterns on the hundreds chart. We also had fun snack today!

She had a snack in front of us and we learned about how Carly is introducing foods to her. We also got to hear about how Cadence got her name. We also spent some time working on our nursery rhyme pages for our Roots of Empathy babies. We walked over to a nearby park this afternoon and we spent some time outside using magnifying glasses to look closely.

In math we continued working on adding strategies. We also reviewed how to pick good fit books for ourselves when we are reading.
Today Jeff Stockton came and told us all about adding "trouble" into stories. We worked on our good copies of our clues for our I Spy pictures. We had to make sure we used our neatest printing, our best spelling and juicy descriptive words. We are enjoying our new read aloud "Love That Dog" its written in poetry!
